The Eta-Aquariid Meteor Shower is one of the best meteor events of the year, known for fast, bright shooting stars. It occurs as Earth passes through debris left by Halley’s Comet.

Tonight (May 5) and Tomorrow Morning (May 6)

Peak viewing hours: 2 AM to 5 AM (just before dawn)

???? Best Viewing Conditions:

Go to a dark location, away from city lights.

Let your eyes adjust to the dark for about 20–30 minutes.

No telescope needed – just look up and be patient!

???? What to Expect:

Up to 30 meteors per hour under ideal conditions.

Fast meteors with long trails, and occasionally fireballs!

The radiant point is near the constellation Aquarius, but meteors can appear anywhere in the sky.
