Seaside Park, NJ Real Estate Sales & Rentals
There is nothing like standing on the boardwalk, breathing in the salty ocean air and feeling it rejuvenate your soul, while your body sways to the soothing rhythm of the waves. The ocean is a mystical place, where water, sun and sand combine to energize and revive. And there are few places where that magic resonates like the Jersey Shore.
Known for its white sandy beaches, the Jersey Shore offers something for everyone. Those who like sand dunes and natural habitats should try Island Beach State Park; for boardwalk amusements, you might want to check out Seaside Park, Seaside Heights or Point Pleasant Beach; while families may enjoy the atmosphere of Spring Lake and Long Beach Island.
There is so much to do and see here. Soar through the sky as you parasail over Barnegat Bay, waving at the boaters below. Test out your surfing skills as you challenge the breakers at "Meters" in Seaside Park. Or spy for shells in the surf -- one of the best places is Island Beach State Park after a storm.
If your taste runs a little more "wild", take a drive over to Six Flags Great Adventure, where you can either ride on a roller coaster or ride through an African safari, at America's largest theme park and drive-through safari.
Or take in the romance of lighthouses, as they send a beacon of light across time. Walk up the 217 steps and see the ocean and Barnegat Bay from "Old Barney", the tallest lighthouse in the state. You can see a Victorian lighthouse at Sea Girt, and at Twin Lights in Highlands you'll see one of the best views on the eastern seaboard.
For musical entertainment, watch the stars under the stars at the Garden State Arts Center in Holmdel, where you can see today's hottest acts perform. Or visit the century-old Ocean Grove Auditorium, and listen to classical or popular music by the sea, then stroll through this quaint Victorian seaside resort.
But if you would rather capture America's history, visit Monmouth Battlefield and see where Molly Pitcher drew water from her well. Or walk through Allaire State Park, and transport yourself to an 18th century bog iron village.
